Ready to soak up the sun and be part of something that truly matters? The Shire of Northam is looking for enthusiastic and vigilant Casual Lifeguards to help keep our state-of-the-art Northam Aquatic Facility safe, welcoming, and fun for everyone.

As the days stretch long and golden over our beautiful Avon Valley, the pool becomes a central hub of activity and community. We need lifeguards who can bring both energy and responsibility—keeping a watchful eye while making sure every visitor has a safe, enjoyable experience.

If you’re confident in the water, calm under pressure, and passionate about helping others, this is your chance to take on a rewarding role that keeps you active and outdoors all summer long.

The successful applicant will have:

Current First Aid certificate or approved equivalent

Unrestricted C class licence

Royal Life Saving Pool Lifeguard qualification or equivalent

Current Working with Children Check

Well-developed communication skills - both written and verbal.

Strong swimming abilities.

Excellent conflict resolution skills.
