About the Role

The City is seeking multiple Pool Lifeguards to join the fun and professional Aquatics team at Aquamotion as we prepare for summer. The successful appointee will be responsible for:
- Maintaining close supervision of the water bodies;
- Responding to emergency situations appropriately and providing first aid assistance when required;
- Liaising with customers and stakeholders to deliver a high level of customer service;
- Contributing to a cohesive team environment;
- Setting up and packing away equipment for swim programs and activities; and
- Reporting hazards and demonstrating high and proactive concern for Occupational Health and Safety.
About You
As a member of the Wanneroo Aquamotion team, the position is accountable for providing a lifeguard service for the City ensuring that a safe and healthy aquatic environment is maintained for customers. The successful appointee must be adaptable and have a keen interest in providing a high level of service to the community. Experience in a similar Group 1 Aquatic Facility is preferred however, not essential. They must also thrive working in a very busy and change driven organisation. As such, applicants must be able to demonstrate through their CV and covering letter they meet the following capabilities:
- Pool Lifeguard Certificate (current);
- First Aid Certificate (current);
- Relevant experience in a similar role (desirable); and
- Pool Operations Certificate (desirable).
The successful candidate will be required to work a variety of hours which form part of the operational hours for Wanneroo Aquamotion, which will include evenings and weekends.
