About The Opportunity

As a Finance Assistant, you’ll support the day-to-day operations of the accounting department, working closely with the Finance Officer and Chief Executive Officer. Some of your key responsibilities will include:

• Applying best practice accounting principles using Xero and iMIS CRM
• Performing bank reconciliations and managing credit card accounts
• Processing supplier invoices, payments, and approved refunds
• Assisting with End of Month reporting and reconciliations
• Maintaining financial records and membership database
• Following up debtors to ensure timely collections

This is a part-time role of 15 hours per week with flexible scheduling available.

About You

The ideal candidate for this role will possess:

• Proficiency in Xero or similar accounting software (preferred but not essential)
• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Finance Assistant role
• A strong understanding of financial and accounting functions
• Qualification in Accounting (preferred but not essential)
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
