About the role

As a Pharmacist at Direct Chemist Outlet Glenroy, you will play a vital role in providing excellent patient-centred care to our customers. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for dispensing medication, offering professional advice, and ensuring the safe and effective management of the pharmacy. Your expertise will be crucial in helping us deliver the highest standards of healthcare to the local community in Glenroy, VIC 3046.

What you'll be doing

Accurately and efficiently dispense a wide range of prescription and over-the-counter medications

Provide expert pharmaceutical advice to patients, addressing their queries and concerns

Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless, coordinated patient care

Maintain meticulous record-keeping and adhere to all relevant pharmacy regulations and standards

Actively participate in quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives

Mentor and supervise pharmacy technicians and assistants to support the smooth operation of the pharmacy

What we're looking for

Registered Pharmacist with a Bachelor of Pharmacy or equivalent qualification

Minimum 2 years of community pharmacy experience preferred, or recent graduates with relevant internship experience

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with patients and other healthcare providers

Strong clinical judgment and problem-solving abilities to make informed decisions

Commitment to ethical practice and patient-centred care

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Proficient in the use of pharmacy software and information systems

Current registration with AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency)
