Your Key Responsibilities will include:

Prepare work areas with ladders, trestles, scaffolding, and protective drop sheets.

Remove old paint, wallpaper, or coatings, repair damaged surfaces, fill cracks, and sand for a smooth finish.

Mix and match paints, stains, or varnishes to achieve the right colors and textures.

Apply paint, varnish, or protective coatings using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment on various surfaces.

Hang wallpaper neatly, matching patterns and trimming edges cleanly.

Perform small repair tasks, like fixing or replacing frames and glass.

Repair or lay tiles on walls or floors when needed for restoration jobs.

Keep tools and equipment in good condition and maintain a clean, safe workspace.

Follow all OH&S procedures, using PPE and handling materials safely.

Offer advice to clients on paint types, finishes, and aftercare when required.

What We’re Looking For

Proven experience as a painter, across both residential and commercial projects.

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality results.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Good communication and time management skills.

Knowledge of workplace safety standards and tools.

What We Offer

A full-time salary is between $75,000 and $85,000, based on your experience.
