We are seeking an experienced Painter to join our dynamic team at David Passmore Painting Pty Ltd, trading as Painting Painting Painting. As a Painter, you will be crucial in providing high-quality services to our valued customers.

Task Includes:

Assist in preparing surfaces for painting, including sanding, cleaning, and applying primers.

Learn proper painting techniques, including brushwork, rolling, and cutting.

Mix paints and match colours accurately.

Tape off areas when needed.

Apply paints, stains, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.

Perform minor repairs and patching on walls and surfaces as needed.

Fill cracks, holes, and joints with caulk, putty, plaster, or other fillers, using caulking guns or putty knives.

Help with the cleanup and maintenance of painting tools and equipment.

Contribute to a safe and organised work environment.

Remove paint splatters when finished.

Calculate amounts of required materials and estimate costs.

To be considered for the position, you must possess the following:

Passion for painting and a willingness to learn.

Minimum 1 year of relevant painting experience.

Ability to follow instructions and work well within a team.

Physical stamina to handle the demands of the job, including standing, bending, lifting and working at heights.

Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and travel to various job sites.

Complies with federal, state, and local building codes by adhering to requirements, advising management on needed actions.
