Join our growing Melbourne team to deliver best-in-class immigration advice for international students and related pathways. You’ll run consultations, craft strategy, prepare decision-ready applications, and lift file quality and compliance—while coaching our counsellors on best practice. 2) Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Client Advice & Strategy

Provide lawful immigration assistance in line with the Migration Act/Regulations and the Code of Conduct (OMARA).

Run paid consultations, assess eligibility and risk, and design strategy across student and related visas (e.g., 500, 485, 407, 600, and basic partner/graduate pathways as offered by the business).

Set clear document lists, timelines, and SLAs; manage expectations ethically (no guarantees).

Case Preparation & Lodgement

Prepare high-quality submissions: Genuineness statements, SOPs, forms, affidavits, and supporting evidence.

Lodge complete applications and manage milestones: health, biometrics, PCC, work/financial evidence.

Draft responses to Requests for Further Information and natural justice invitations; maintain audit-ready files.

Compliance & Quality

Maintain MARA registration, CPD, professional indemnity, and strict confidentiality.

Keep accurate file notes, client agreements, cost disclosures, receipts, and trust-account interactions (if applicable).

Ensure adherence to provider contracts, privacy laws, and internal SOPs.

Collaboration & Training

Partner with the counselling/admissions team to align course options with visa strategy.

Deliver internal training on documentation standards, risk flags, and legislative updates.

Reporting

Track and report service KPIs: consultation→lodgement conversion, file completeness score, RFI rate, turnaround times, client NPS, and compliance audit scores.

What You’ll Bring

Current MARA registration (MARN) and up-to-date CPD.

2–5+ years’ casework in student/graduate/visitor (and related) visas with strong drafting and evidence-building skills.

Confident interpreter of policy/procedure; sound risk judgment.

Empathy and clear communication with culturally diverse clients.

CRM proficiency (HubSpot/Zoho/Salesforce or similar) and strong documentation habits.

Weekend/event availability as needed.

Nice to Have

Experience with simple partner or skilled pathways (within firm scope).

Multilingual ability (e.g., Nepali, Hindi).

Prior mentoring or team-lead experience.
