We are seeking an Intermediate Accountant to join this dynamic professional services firm. In this role, you will work closely with senior accountants and managers, gaining valuable client exposure and expanding your expertise across tax, compliance, and advisory services. This opportunity is ideal for someone with a solid grounding in public practice who’s ready to step up into more responsibility in a supportive and forward-thinking environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare financial statements and income tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts, and partnerships
• Assist with BAS, IAS, FBT, and payroll tax obligations
• Support tax planning and business advisory projects
• Liaise with the ATO and other regulatory bodies on behalf of clients
• Collaborate with colleagues and clients to deliver accurate, timely advice
• Develop technical and client-facing skills with guidance from experienced professionals

About You

• You bring 2–4 years of experience in public practice accounting
• You have completed or are currently undertaking your CA/CPA qualification
• You hold strong knowledge of Australian tax and accounting standards, including Tax, FBT, and Capital Gains Tax
• You demonstrate excellent attention to detail and strong time management skills
• You communicate with confidence and take a proactive approach to your work
• You are comfortable using cloud-based accounting software such as Xero, MYOB, or APS (strongly preferred)
