This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated, aspiring and customer focused Pharmacy Technician to join our ever growing and well-loved family business. In this fast paced, multifaceted role, you are required to perform tasks under Pharmacist supervision to the standards set by The Pharmacy Board of Australia, The Pharmacy Guild and QCPP.

Responsibilities

Receive prescriptions from customers ensuring they contain all information required for dispensing.

Dispense prescriptions, select and label items and collate paperwork ready for checking and sign off by a Pharmacist.

Assist the Pharmacist with dispensary administration, including but not limited to Medicare Australia claiming, prescription management, documentation, reporting, etc.

Assist the Pharmacist with dispensary inventory management.

Stock and replenish dispensary shelves as per Pharmacist instructions including

Labelling shelves for products within the dispensary and pharmacy

Participating in stocktakes as and when required.

Support the Pharmacist in non-clinical tasks that are within your capacity, competencies/qualifications and experience.

Utilise computer systems to maintain customer profiles, dispense prescriptions, manage dispensary inventory and operations.

Pharmacy Technician Qualification as a minimum

Experience working in the dispensary

Strong interpersonal, organisational and problem-solving skills

Exceptional customer service skills

Excellent verbal & written communication skills

Dedicated work ethic and a strong team player

Strong eye for detail and accuracy

The successful applicant will be required to meet a satisfactory National Criminal History Check outcome.
