Area Mental Health and Wellbeing Services

Mildura Base Public Hospital’s Area Mental Health and Wellbeing Services offers a range of inpatient and community-based services for people with mental illness in the Northern Mallee region. We offer an environment that genuinely cares about the health and wellbeing of all staff.

About the Role

The role will manage the administration functions and administration staff within the Mental Health and Wellbeing Service (MHWS).

The key functions of this position will be to provide leadership to all administrative staff and be responsible for overseeing and ensuring the smooth running of administration functions within the service. The role is also responsible for the effective and efficient mental health data governance for the service.

The position is offered on a full-time basis, however part-time (0.8 FTE) applications will be considered. Some flexibility in rostering would be considered with shifts rostered in business hours Monday through Friday.

About You

The successful candidate will have experience in and knowledge of health administration functions along with a demonstrated ability to manage administrative services to achieve desired outcomes and to provide supervision, direction and support to staff.

This role is paid under the Victorian Public Mental Health Services Enterprise Agreement.
