At Beyond, we know that it takes more than beautiful buildings to create inspiring learning environments. We curate our teams with thought and care because we know that it’s our people that make the difference.
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated full time Early Childhood Teacher to join our Goolwa Centre. Our ECTs are vital in preparing and delivering a high quality education program, including a preschool program. A strong understanding of the EYLF and Reggio Emilia philosophy is essential.
We understand the valuable contribution that our teachers make to our teams, so our ECT offering might look a little different!
By joining us at Beyond Early Learning - Goolwa, you will be entitled to:
A full time graduate salary beginning at $80,000, plus an allowance for attendance at paid staff meetings (paid at an overtime rate). On top of this, our teachers are eligible to receive the Government's Workforce Retention Grant which amounts to more than $7,000 per year for a full time, graduate teacher. Proficient teachers will be eligible for more.
Salaried pay - no hourly rates or time sheets!
Laptop computer to allow for efficient programming
Generous programming time
Priority rostering to reflect the typical hours of work of a preschool teacher
Membership in our Employee Assistance Program
Discount childcare Gap Fee
Individual support to assist graduate teachers to move from provisional to full registration
Birthday recognition
Membership in our Employee Assistance Program
As an additional commitment to our full time Early Childhood Teachers, we can offer an optional 40-hour work week, allowing you to accrue additional hours that can be taken as up to 2 weeks additional leave per year.
A part time or job share role would be considered for the right candidate.
Our Better with Beyond mentality ensures our staff wellbeing is a top priority.
We would love to hear from you if you have:
A Bachelor of Early Childhood Teaching or recognised equivalent qualification. Please note: a Graduate Certificate in Education is not recognised as equivalent by the South Australian Teacher's Registration Board.
Experience working as an ECT would be an advantage.
Outstanding knowledge of the EYLF and National Quality Framework (NQF).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A strong understanding of technology and the ability to learn new platforms and programs.
Proven ability to build and maintain positive relationships with children, families, and staff.
Exceptional organisation and time management skills.
A genuine passion for early childhood education and children's wellbeing and a commitment to continuous improvement.
