Pathfinder Recruitment is excited to bring to market a great opportunity for a Project Manager to join a global Education company in Melbourne. You will also be responsible for end to end Project Management across scoping, design, planning, monitoring and implementation of projects in the education and assessments domain. You will need to have experience delivering projects for external clients. You will be responsible for ensuring all project contractual obligations and the business financial objectives are met.

Responsibilities in the role include:

Manage a portfolio of education focused Projects

Undertake all documentation aspects of project planning, implementation and evaluation

Create and execute project work plans and revise as appropriate to meet the changing needs and requirements

Manage Project Coordination and ensure projects are completed on time, to budget and to the highest levels of quality

Manage day to day operational aspects of multiple projects

Risk identification, assessment and management

Manage issue identification and resolution

Manage day-to-day stakeholder interaction

Communicate effectively with clients to identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions

Identify opportunities for improvement and makes constructive suggestions for change

Skills required for the role include:

Minimum of 3 years project management experience in an environment characterised by multiple, complex projects

Previous experience in education domain, focusing on assessments

Proven ability to set priorities and to deliver a high quality service in a high volume work environment within strict time constraints

Conceptual, analytical and negotiation skills

Requirements:

Experience working in PRINCE2 environments (essential)

Availability to travel 4-6 weeks per year
