Our client has over 20 years of experience in the roofing and construction industry, delivering quality service backed by hands-on expertise in roofing, cladding, rainwater goods, and accessories - with a proud focus on specialty products. With a strong team environment and a continued commitment to supporting local businesses, an opportunity has become available for an experienced Roofing Trade Assistant to join their team.

The Role:

As a sheet Metal Machine operator and worker your role is to produce a finished product that meets the requirements specified in a schematics sheet or blueprint and is free of defects and flaws.

You must be able to show strong understanding in studying blueprint, diagrams and specification sheets. Set up and operate equipment safely and basic material preparation. Have precision in measuring sheet metal and marking in proper places to comply with required specifications. Use of cutting tools to prepare metal and other tasks such as Shaping, Drilling, and bending metal whilst adhering and demonstrating safe work practices and workplace OHS procedures,

Criteria:

• White Card
• Analytical skills to interpret technical drawings
• Arithmetic skills to convert measurements
• Ability to safely use power & hand tools
• Minimum 6 months previous experience in similar industry handling Heavy Machinery
• Current Valid Driving licence
• National Police Clearance & ability to pass a Drug & Alcohol
