Our client who is a construction materials manufacturer is currently seeking a Mill Operator to join their team on a temp with the view for permanency basis. You will be required to work on rotating shifts which will be an 7:7 roster based locally in Naval Base.

The Role:
You will be required to operate heavy fixed-plant and mobile machinery within the manufacturing facility and yard with the role involving some heavy lifting.

You will be required to work 12-hour shifts, with the below roster:

• 7 Days on (Day Shift) 6:30am - 6:30pm
• 7 Days off
• 7 Nights on (Night Shift) 6:30pm - 6:30am
• 7 Days off

You will be well remunerated at a flat casual hourly rate of $47.47 + super. Nightshift loading will be additional on top of the flat rate and should you work outside these rostered hours then penalty rates will also apply.

Requirements:

• Loader Operator Ticket (essential)
• Forklift ticket (essential)
• Current driver's licence and reliable vehicle
• Able to pass a drug & alcohol screen (regular D&A screens thereafter)
• Available for immediate start
• Confined Space Ticket
• Working at heights Ticket
• Full Australian working rights (Sorry no holiday visas)
