Robert Half is working with a client who is seeking a highly skilled Test Analyst to join their team. This role will suit someone who thrives in application and system testing across a wide range of hardware and software environments, with a strong focus on delivering quality outcomes and driving process improvements.

About the role

You'll be responsible for testing applications across multiple platforms and devices, ensuring functionality, performance, and accessibility. The role covers both major and minor release testing and involves replicating real-world device environments to guarantee seamless end-user experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Perform functional and system testing across applications, hardware, and software systems
• Conduct cross-platform and cross-device testing (Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, Chromebook)
• Carry out accessibility testing to ensure inclusivity
• Support major and minor releases, validating quality and stability
• Track and manage device usage (phones, tablets, laptops, etc.)
• Identify opportunities for testing process improvements
• Prepare detailed documentation such as Test Plans and Execution Reports
• Manage defects and create test cases using JIRA
• Collaborate with stakeholders and provide regular progress updates

What we're looking for

• 7+ years' experience in functional software testing across varied projects
• Expertise with device management and lockdown tools (e.g., kiosk mode, MDM solutions)
• Strong understanding of cross-platform, cross-browser and cross-device testing and accessibility requirements
• Ability to work independently while engaging effectively with teams and stakeholders
• Excellent communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills
• Cultural fit is essential - we're after someone collaborative, adaptable, and quality-focused

Desirable skills

• Exposure to device provisioning and remote testing setups
• Test automation experience with tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, JMeter, Rest Assured
