Client Services Team Member – Sage Psychology and Assessment

Location: South Gladstone, QLD
Hours: Part-time (22.8hours) - 3 days per week, must be able to work Fridays.

Sage Psychology and Assessment is a locally owned, multidisciplinary practice based in Gladstone. We offer psychology and occupational therapy services, with a shared commitment to supporting the mental health and wellbeing of regional and rural communities. Our team is small, collaborative, and passionate about creating a calm, inclusive space where both clients and staff feel genuinely cared for. What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll be the friendly face (and voice) that welcomes clients into our space and helps keep things running smoothly behind the scenes.

Your administrative role will include:

Greeting clients and visitors with warmth and professionalism

Answering phone calls and managing appointment bookings

Supporting new clients with onboarding and documentation

Managing our booking system and waitlist

Keeping client files organised and up to date

Assisting with workshops and events

Processing payments and completing end-of-day procedures

Helping maintain a tidy, calm, and inviting clinic space

What You’ll Bring

We’re looking for someone who’s kind, capable, and confident working independently in a busy environment.

You’ll need:

2+ years’ admin experience (ideally in medical or allied health)

Solid computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite)

Great communication—friendly, clear, and professional

Strong initiative, time management, and organisation

A calm, empathetic approach to client care

A current Blue Card and Police Check (or willingness to obtain)

A C Class Driver’s License

Bonus points if you have:

A qualification in Administration

Knowledge of Medicare and health insurance processes

Experience with Practice Management software

Physical First Aid and Mental Health First Aid certification

Experience and proficiency in developing and documenting workplace policies and procedures
