In this role, as Senior Business Performance Analyst, you will support in driving strategic decision-making and operational excellence across our Family and Disability Services portfolio.
Working in a highly collaborative manner with cross functional teams, the role will be responsible for analysing complex data sets, developing performance frameworks, and delivering actionable insights.
We are looking for an analytically minded individual that can provide strong commercial and operational level insights to the organisation. This work involves extensive engagement with various stakeholders across a complex organisation.
Please note, this is a 2-year, maximum term contract position, with the potential for extension. Flexibility is important to us, and we know it is to you, too - this role supports hybrid working.
Your part in our UnitingCare team
Performance analysis for the service stream including the design and implementation of performance measurement frameworks aligned with organisational goals and government reporting requirements.
Conduct deep-dive analysis into service utilisation, client outcomes, financial performance, and workforce productivity and accurately forecast future results.
Support and develop targeted strategies to improve performance and monitor delivery against these targets (both at Board level and within Service Stream).
Develop and maintain performance dashboards, models and reporting tools to monitor key metrics across programs and services to facilitate improved financial performance and promote decision making.
Partner and collaborate with internal teams to ensure data integrity, alignment of performance goals and develop capability.
Support and drive continuous improvement, review processes and proactive risk analysis.
What makes a difference for us?
Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Business or a related field, holding a CAANZ/CPA or similar membership, with experience in a large, complex organisation with dynamic change environments.
Advanced business process modelling and analytical skills with proficiency in tools such as Power BI, Power Query, Excel, SQL, or similar.
Advanced finance and accounting competency with knowledge and understanding of accounting standards and legislation relevant to work environment.
Strong analytical, conceptual and problem-solving skills, including comprehensive financial and statistical analysis skills.
Ability to interpret and analyse large complex data sources with minimal corrections and effective use of analytic techniques.
Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing performance frameworks or in a strategic role focused on improving business in a medium to large organisation.
