Within the department, you will be part of the Teaching and Learning Services division which provides services encompassing quality teaching and learning, national and systemic assessment, transition to boarding school support and policy coordination. Teaching and Learning Services also plays a strategic role in implementing government priorities, offering expert advice to the Education Minister and the department’s senior executives.

As the Director, Curriculum Pedagogy and Assessment 7-12 you will be providing high level leadership and drive student outcomes through provision of school improvement practices, strategic and high-level education policy advice, leadership at the systemic certification level and effective consultation with stakeholders. You will also lead the school improvement program areas to develop, implement, evaluate and report on strategic plans, policies and programs that support the implementation of years 7 to 12 curriculum, teaching, learning, assessment, reporting and certification in all Northern Territory schools.
