The Team
Student Wellbeing and Inclusion Programs and Services (SWIPS) is part of Inclusion and Engagement Services, which provides differentiated support services to reform inclusion and improve engagement and access to learning for children, students, and communities. Student Wellbeing and Inclusion provides advice, guidance and support to clients and stakeholders to ensure all children and students are welcomed into an inclusive learning environment and are able to engage effectively with education and learn to their full potential.
The Role
As Director Stakeholder and Business Strategy, you will play a pivotal leadership role in shaping and driving strategic initiatives that support the Senior Director of Student Wellbeing and Inclusion Programs and Services (SWIPS), as well as the broader Stakeholder and Business Strategy team. You will provide high-level strategic leadership and oversight across SWIPS stakeholder functions including relationship management, strategic communications, and branch secretariat services ensuring alignment, transparency, and collaboration at all levels. In addition, you will lead core business operations such as strategic planning, governance and risk management, budget coordination, and workforce strategy, driving operational excellence and continuous improvement.

About you
To be successful in this role you will have:
High-level leadership in strategic planning, conceptual thinking, and analytical capability, with a strong track record in leading stakeholder engagement and managing strategic business functions, including the development and implementation of workforce strategies.
Highly adaptable and flexible, with proven ability to lead, inspire, and support teams in high-pressure, rapidly evolving environments, while tailoring approaches to suit varying contexts and challenges.
Extensive experience in fostering collaborative partnerships and facilitating transparent communication across stakeholders, clients, and service providers, leveraging advanced change management expertise to drive continuous improvement.
Strong ability to work independently with accountability, consistently demonstrating a high level of integrity, a strong work ethic, and the capacity to manage multiple priorities across culturally diverse stakeholder groups.
A current Working with Children Notice (Ochre Card) from SAFE NT or ability to obtain.
