THE REQUIREMENTS

A bachelor’s degree or higher qualification in law with solid academic results

Admitted to practice law in Australia

At least 1 year experience in an Australian migration law firm

Experienced in obtaining client instructions, conducting client meetings and appearing at tribunal level if required

Must be confident with IT and 100% client-focused

Must approach your work with a compassionate and kind manner with clients and their situation.

THE ROLE

Salary range: $60,000 - $80,000

Interviewing clients to determine the nature of problems and recommending and undertaking appropriate legal action.

Researching legal matters.

Drafting documents like record of responses, submissions and Tribunal and Court documents.

Representing clients at the Administrative Review Tribunal.

Apply the firm's style guide and document standards to ensure consistency in format, language, structure, and tone.

Track legislative, regulatory, and procedural changes and ensure timely updates to affected clients or matters.
