Our client, a medical research manufacturing facility is seeking a switched on Supply Chain Coordinator to assist in 3PL operations, Supply Chain activities and and Procurement/Purchasing.
Key Responsibilities:
3PL Operational Management
- Ongoing process changes & improvements between 3PL & VVMF.
- Stocktaking and cycle counts of data to be moved to 3PL.
- Working with 3PL operations group to ensure data integrity.
- Working with 3PL operations group for process establishment.
- Management of quarterly report out meetings.
- Day to day logistics bookings.
Supply Chain Activities
- Assisting with material related queries.
- KPI generation.
- General SOP generation and review.
- Other general tasks on an ad hoc basis.
- Tracking shipments.
Procurement & Purchasing Activities
- Vendor Evaluation, research and evaluate potential vendors.
- Negotiation, negotiate contract terms and pricing with suppliers.
- Execute MRP and placing requisition orders.
- Converts all company wide requisitions to purchase orders.
- Tactical purchasing.
- General Procurement administration duties.
- Order Tracking, track orders to ensure timely delivery.
- Quality Control, review the quality of purchased products.
- Cost Analysis, prepare reports on purchases and conduct cost analyses.
- Coordination, work with internal teams to understand their supply needs.
- Work closely with Production Analyst around ordering & replenishment needs.
- Responsible for timely replenishment of inventory from 3PL.
- Working closely with Material Handler for inventory issues & replenishment gaps.
- Communicating shortages.
- Management of open purchases.
- Track shipments for timely delivery.
To be considered for this role you will need to possess the following:
Experience and Knowledge
- Experience working in a similar within a cGMP environment or manufacturing highly regarded but not essential.
- Proficient Microsoft office suites.
- Experience in working with Enterprise Resources Planning (ERP) systems, Calibration and Equipment Maintenance highly regarded but not essential.
- Previous experience working in a supply chain environment highly regarded but not essential.
- Demonstrated experience (as a guide 2-3 year's) as an Purchasing Officer.
- Experience managing vendors to ensure timely delivery of stock.
