Case Manager | Connect Care | Townsville
Employment Term: Maximum Term to October 2026, Part-Time (45.6 hours per fortnight, 3 days per week)
Location: Townsville, Cairns or Brisbane
Remuneration: $51 p/hr + Super + NFP Salary Packaging (save tax and increase your take home pay)

Your part in our UnitingCare team
This position is the first point of contact for families accessing the ConnectCare service, providing counselling and case management support to victims on non-violent property crime across Queensland.
This position will:
Assist families to access support services (both internal and external to the organization) including practical and crisis support where necessary and provide follow up as required.
Provide relevant assessment, counselling and therapeutic support services to
individuals.
Contribute to the implementation and evaluate programs and plans for the delivery of the service across the State.
Undertake assessments, case manage, referrals and case reviews for a range of
clients.
Work in collaboration with the manager and team members to develop the program
and referral pathways, including representing the organisation positively and
professionally at networking events and sector meetings.
What makes a difference for us?
Undergraduate degree in Social Work, Psychology or other Human of Behavioural Science discipline
Demonstrated experience of working within the community sector to support vulnerable individuals/families and a demonstrated ability to apply a range of theoretical approaches relevant to working with individuals.
Sound knowledge of, and demonstrated ability to utilize, therapeutic processes and
practices, including the ability to analyse, evaluate and make objective judgments and recommendations.
Current Qld Drivers Licence
Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
