What you’ll do
As our Finance Business Partner, you will:
Partner with internal stakeholders to deliver high-quality budgeting, management accounting, and financial advice.
Analyse large datasets and financial models to uncover trends, opportunities, and insights that inform key business decisions.
Support our 10-year capital works program through robust reporting, forecasting, and project performance analysis.
Provide expert advice, guidance, and training to project managers and business leaders in understanding financial information and systems.
Collaborate across the organisation and with external consultants, auditors, and grant agencies to ensure compliance, accuracy, and transparency.
About you
To succeed in this role, you will bring:
A degree in Accounting, Commerce, or a related discipline (CPA/CA highly regarded).
Proven experience in budgeting, management accounting, and financial reporting.
Advanced financial modelling and data analysis skills, including ERP and Excel proficiency.
Strong communication, influencing, and collaboration skills.
A proactive, organised approach, balancing multiple priorities and delivering results.
Experience in local government is highly desirable but not essential - if you’re passionate about making an impact, we want to hear from you!
