Darling Downs Glass and Security in Toowoomba is a family owned long standing local company (since 1997) that provides all types of glass repair including replacement shower screens, mirrors, wardrobe doors. We are also a Starline Security distributor supplying and installing new security doors and screens. We are rapidly expanding and are in need of a person to join our friendly team and help us continue this exciting growth phase of the business.

We are a fast paced business that works and plays hard.

We are looking for a qualified licenced glazier or someone that has a high level of experience working in the industry but may not be licenced.

Qualifications & experience (Preferred but not essential)

Experienced and/or Trade Qualified Glazier

Current manual drivers licence is essential

Experience in measuring and fitting of all types of shower screens, mirrors, wardrobe doors, security doors and screens, glass repair (onsite glazing)

Experience in measuring and fitting of windows and doors would be advantageous but not necessary

Attention to detail and pride in your workmanship

Team player

Ability to work in a fast paced environment

Tasks & responsibilities

Reglazing of Aluminium and Timber Windows and Doors

Measuring and fitting of security doors and screens, shower screens, mirrors, wardrobe doors

Collection of customer payments via mobile EFTPOS machine

Communicate with customers to identify their individual requirements

Ability to work unsupervised and problem solve is a must

7.30am - 4pm Monday to Thursday. Friday 7am - 1pm
