This full time position is an inhouse training position in all aspects of chemical manufacturing in a factory environment.

We would also consider someone who is looking for permanent part time during the first 3 months while in the training phase. We can be flexible in the first 3 months.

Our inhouse training program will begin with phase one at the full time C11 negotiable base rate starting at $60,000 per annum plus super depending on experience in a similar or like environment.

This base rate will increase quickly as your skills improve.

Wages are calculated by the Manufacturing and Associated Industries and Occupations award 2020.

As a full time employee, you have paid 4 weeks annual leave, 10 days personal leave and public holidays.

Profit share is also part of your full time package. This is paid annually.

Workwear and PPE is provided.

Our operating hours are 8-4.30pm Monday to Thursday. Friday 8-2.30pm.

Qualifications & experience:

Forklift license with at least 1 year of recent experience is MANDATORY for this position. If you do not have a forklift license you will not be considered for this position. Basic computer skills would be beneficial. Must be able to follow clear instructions, step by step procedures and work methodically through set job sheets. A medical assessment may be required prior to employment.

Tasks & responsibilities:

Decanting of liquid and powder chemicals into various pack sizes (via hand and/or machine). Picking and packing orders for delivery/dispatch. Loading and unloading trucks. Basic computer skills. Chemical mixing of liquid and powder.

Lifting of up to 25kg bags.
