A1Anco Engineering is a family-owned manufacturing company supplying South Australian Industry for over 50 years with a reputation for quality and excellent customer service.

Primary duties will include:

Setting and operation of Automatic bandsaws and a high-speed cold cut saw.

Establishing cut lists from technical drawings.

Analysing material requirements and material lengths to formulate a cut plan to minimise material wastage.

Accurate, precise measuring and quality checking.

Handling and packing cut material.

Housekeeping of the work area.

Other duties could include:

Driving a forklift to transport raw materials and finished goods around the production plant.

Assembly work using hand tools.

Repetition production duties including linishing parts, Product ID stamping, and operation of Robodrill.

Assisting with general stores, including washing and packaging of parts.

Loading and unloading trucks and safely securing loads for transport.

The successful applicant will:

Be highly proficient in the operation of industrial saws or similar metal processing equipment in a production environment.

Be a team player able to follow detailed instructions.

Have the physical capacity to perform the duties of the role. (including handling products of a heavy nature).

Knowledge of different steel varieties and experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment would be an advantage.

A forklift licence and proficiency in operating a forklift in a restricted area would be an advantage.
