Victoria University is seeking a strategic and solutions-driven Senior Functional Analyst to join our Digital and Campus Services team. This critical role offers the opportunity to lead enterprise-wide system and process enhancements that directly impact student and staff experiences across the University.

About the Role:

In this senior-level position, you will take the lead in designing, analysing, and optimising complex digital solutions across multiple programs and projects. You’ll engage with stakeholders across the University, including business leaders, technology teams, and subject matter experts, to deliver innovative, scalable solutions that align with our strategic objectives.

Key Duties:

An example of your responsibilities or duties you may perform will include:

Lead analysis streams under Agile or hybrid delivery models.

Design and deliver strategic solutions that improve operational efficiency and system effectiveness.

Guide business transformation through gap analysis, process reengineering, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Develop high-level documentation and contribute to UAT and training strategies.

Mentor junior analysts and contribute to capability uplift across the team.

Ensure compliance with enterprise architecture, governance, privacy, and security standards.

About You

You bring extensive experience in enterprise systems and large-scale digital transformation projects, alongside strong stakeholder engagement and analytical capabilities. You’re a skilled communicator with the ability to influence, negotiate, and build consensus across diverse groups.

Qualifications and Experience

Postgraduate qualifications or significant relevant experience.

Proven leadership in enterprise systems analysis and solution design.

Expertise in Agile methodologies, systems integration, and data/process modelling.

Certifications in CBAP, Agile/Scrum, ITIL, or TOGAF (desirable).

Experience with platforms such as TechnologyOne, Oracle, or D2L (desirable).
