About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Production Drafter to join our award-winning team at Gangemi Cabinet Makers. This hands-on role, based in Proserpine —the gateway to the stunning Whitsundays —offers the chance to work on some of the region’s most exciting custom architectural joinery projects.

You'll be responsible for preparing detailed Cabinet Vision drawings, generating CNC-ready files, ordering materials, and working closely with our production and installation teams to ensure a smooth handover from design to build.

Key Responsibilities

Draft high-quality, buildable joinery drawings using Cabinet Vision

Work with and maintain UCS (User Created Standards) for consistent outputs

Generate accurate cut lists and CNC files using S2M Centre

Order and schedule materials required for each project

Liaise with the factory team and installers to solve construction challenges before they arise

Interpret architectural plans and site measurements

About You

Minimum 5 years’ experience using Cabinet Vision in a production environment

Strong knowledge of cabinetmaking and joinery construction

Comfortable working with UCS and CNC workflows

Experience with ordering and managing materials

Trade background in cabinetmaking or workshop experience (highly regarded)

Australian residency and willingness to relocate to Proserpine, QLD
