Woods & Co Recruitment is proud to partner with a leading manufacturer in the lighting industry, seeking an experienced and motivated Production Manager. They're looking for someone highly organised, who can oversee multiple ongoing commercial lighting projects and likes to be active on the production floor. Based in Epping, this thriving business has a close-knit team of 15 and is looking for a hands-on leader to oversee and optimise their production and assembly operations.

What do you do?

• Lead and manage a team of 4–8 in the warehouse, overseeing the manufacture and assembly of light fittings
• Juggle multiple projects ensuring timelines and quality standards are met
• Manage stock control and inventory
• Operate and maintain CNC machines to ensure production efficiency
• Oversee warehouse operations with a hands-on approach
• Implement production schedules, coordinate tasks, and optimise workflows
• Ensure adherence to company policies, safety standards and OH&S regulations
• Provide regular updates to senior management and contribute to strategic planning

What do you need?

• Previous experience in a Production Manager or similar role
• Experience in the lighting or electrical industry
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Hands-on experience in warehouse operations and team coordination
• Problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
• Attention to detail and a proactive mindset
• Knowledge of Salesforce or similar systems (tech savvy)
• Forklift license (Highly regarded)
