Work hours: Probation period 12 pm to 8:30 pm, After Probation 2 pm to 10:30 pm

Key responsibilities:

This role is critical to maintaining and supporting the high standards that OHG Distribution. You will work hands-on in the production environment, ensuring every product leaving our facility meets the highest standards of safety, quality, and presentation.

Maintain global food safety and quality accreditations, including HACCP, GMP, and customer-specific standards

Conduct quality checks on raw materials, in-process goods, and finished products (visual, physical, and instrument-based)

Assist with daily production tasks and documentation

Perform CCP and QCP monitoring, line start-up checks, and end-of-day verifications

Monitor packaging integrity, labelling accuracy, weights, and best-before dates in real time

Investigate deviations, non-conformances, and customer complaints; implement corrective and preventive actions

Support and maintain accurate quality and production records.

Assisting in developing, reviewing, and updating SOPs

Deliver Food Safety and GMP training to production staff

Support internal, customer, and external audits, and assist with continuous improvement initiatives

Support the Production and QA team

Qualifications and Requirements:

Passionate about quality, thrives in a fast-paced production setting, and isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves. Have a sharp eye for detail, remain composed under pressure, and take pride in getting things right the first time.

Tertiary qualification in Food Science, Food Technology and Nutrition, Food Safety and Quality Management or related field.

Minimum 1 year experience within food manufacturing, ideally in the FMCG sector. On-site quality control experience is preferred, though not essential

Strong understanding of HACCP, GMP, manufacturing requirements, and document control

Excellent time management and organisational abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple priorities in a busy production environment

Proactive, honest, punctual, detail-oriented, and confident in identifying issues and taking prompt corrective action

Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership—able to act without needing direction

Flexible and willing to take on extra responsibilities, including supporting the QA and production during leave periods or peak workloads

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across production, warehouse, and management teams

Experienced in working with quality systems, checklists, and documentation requirements

A collaborative team player who fosters a positive, food-safe, and quality-focused workplace culture

Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English fluently, especially for documentation and internal coordination

Fluency in Chinese is preferred, though not essential
