About the role

We are seeking an exceptional Production Manager to join our dynamic team at Simply Signs' in Underwood, Queensland. As our Production Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the efficient and effective manufacturing operations of our highly-regarded signage and visual communications solutions business. This full-time position will allow you to leverage your strong background in production planning and scheduling to ensure we maintain the highest standards of quality and productivity.

What you'll be doing

Develop and implement effective production plans and schedules to meet customer orders and deadlines

Oversee the day-to-day operations of the production floor, ensuring workflows are optimised and targets are consistently met

Monitor and analyse production data to identify areas for improvement and implement innovative solutions

Liaise with the sales and project management teams to ensure seamless coordination and timely delivery of projects

Lead, motivate and develop a high-performing production team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement

Ensure strict compliance with all relevant health, safety and quality standards

What we're looking for

Minimum 5 years' experience in a production management or supervisory role, ideally within the manufacturing, signage or visual communications industries

Strong understanding of production planning, scheduling and workflow optimisation techniques

Excellent problem-solving, decision-making and analytical skills

Demonstrable leadership abilities, with a track record of motivating and developing high-performing teams

Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills

Proficient in using production management software and data analysis tools

Tertiary qualification in production management, operations management or a related field is highly regarded
