About the role
St John Ambulance Victoria is expanding our team of Trainers to deliver training and assessment of our Certificate courses for Non Emergency Patient Transport.
They conduct training courses in accordance with national frameworks, training quality standards, as well as organisational policies, procedures and protocols.
The trainers provide excellent student experiences by delivering engaging training and assessment.
This role will require travel around the Melbourne metropolitan area.
As our ideal candidate, you will possess:
- You will be a have a positive & engaging communication style
- You will hold and maintain a relevant qualification for the delivery of Vocational Education & Training to meet the RTO standards (Cert IV in Training & Assessment or equivalent). Newly qualified trainers are welcome to apply and will be supported by a comprehensive onboarding program
- Qualification and experience as Patient Transport Officer, Ambulance Transport Attendant or other relevant industry experience
- A demonstrated passion for training & education in the field of patient transport
- Basic IT skills and the ability and willingness to learn new technology
- Willingness to complete occasional on road patient transport shifts to maintain industry experience
