Our City Operations Portfolio located at Golden Grove, has undergone exciting changes to its structure and services, so we can continue to provide the best support to our Community. To support our commitment, an exciting opportunity exists to join our Field Services team.
Reporting to Supervisor Civil Maintenance, this position is responsible for leading a team that delivers Road Pavement maintenance, Street sweeping and unsealed footpath replacement, along with a variety of other Civil related works. Developing and setting works programs, the team leader supports field officers to deliver highly valued services to our community.
Position Description - Team Leader Civil Maintenance
Key responsibilities are:
Working collaboratively with the team, field services team leaders and other stakeholders to improve work practices and procedures.
Embedding WHS into the daily practices of every team member.
Regular monitoring of program/project budgets with updates reported to corporate leaders.
Developing team members through coaching and mentoring to achieve team objectives and implement agreed values and behaviours.
Leading recruitment and onboarding of new staff in accordance with procedures.
Leading a safety-first culture by promoting personal and organisational accountability for safety, wellbeing, and injury management, and by supporting our Work Health, Safety & Return to Work policies and practices.
About you:
Be accredited for Temporary Traffic Management (TTM) / Work Zone Traffic Management (WZTM) or TTM non practitioner
Be accredited for Work Safely in the Construction Industry (White Card)
Hold a current South Australian Class C Driver's Licence
Have a Certificate in Leadership or related discipline
Have proven leadership experience with ability to inspire and motivate the team, providing guidance and support to achieve workplace goals
Foster a collaborative environment, encouraging team input and collective problem-solving
Have ability to identify opportunities for improvement and streamline processes for maximum efficiency
Be an exceptional communicator, skilled in building positive relationships internally and externally, with a strong ability to positively influence others
Be willing to undergo a pre-employment medical assessment, psychometric assessment and police check.

Salary range is between $80,998 to $96,086 plus superannuation guarantee and will be negotiated commensurate with skills, experience and qualifications.
