Key Responsibilities:

Handle, care for, and supervise dogs during training, transport, and other activities.

Conduct assessments of dog behavior and temperament.

Develop and implement training plans tailored to individual dogs.

Train dogs in basic obedience, advanced commands, and/or specific tasks (e.g., service work, security, scent detection, agility).

Use positive reinforcement and humane training techniques.

Keep accurate records of training progress, behavior assessments, and health needs.

Clean and maintain kennels, grooming equipment, and training facilities.

Monitor dog health and behavior and report any concerns to veterinarians or supervisors.

Educate and advise dog owners or handlers on training techniques and behavioral strategies.

Participate in public demonstrations or client sessions when required.

Requirements:

✔ Experience: 1+ years in professional dog training/handling (or certified via CCPDT, IACP, etc.).
✔ Skills: Canine body language, positive reinforcement, crisis management (e.g., fights, anxiety).
✔ Physical ability: Lift 20kg+, stand for hours, work outdoors.
✔ Certifications (preferred): CPDT-KA, Delta Institute, or similar.
✔ Personality: Patient, communicative, and passionate about animal welfare!
