About the role

Glamour De Fur' is seeking passionate and experienced Dog Groomers and Dog Washers to join our dynamic team in our Vaucluse, NSW location. As a Dog Groomer or Washer, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality grooming and bathing services to our beloved canine clients. This is a full-time position, offering the opportunity to work in a vibrant, pet-focused environment.

What you'll be doing

Providing professional dog grooming services, including bathing, trimming, brushing and styling to the highest standards

Performing thorough dog washing and drying to ensure our clients' pets look and feel their best

Consulting with clients to understand their preferences and tailoring grooming services accordingly

Maintaining a clean and organised work environment, following all safety and hygiene protocols

Assisting with customer service and handling client inquiries as needed

Participating in ongoing training to stay up-to-date with the latest grooming techniques and industry trends

What we're looking for

Minimum 2 years of experience in professional dog grooming or dog washing is preferred but not essential as we will also accept trainees.

Excellent dog handling skills and the ability to work safely and calmly with animals

Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow grooming instructions precisely

Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Enthusiasm for the pet care industry and a genuine passion for animal welfare

Relevant qualifications or certifications in dog grooming or veterinary assisting would be highly regarded
