We have a fantastic opportunity for an Operations Manager to join one of our key Defence suppliers leading a team of technicians and operational personnel. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring our site runs as smooth as possible and leading the team for accountability, support and training.

As this is a high paced environment, those with a hands-on attitude and approach to work and support will thrive within this workplace.

Those with previous Management or Maritime Operations management experience, ideally ex-defence are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support in the general running and upkeep of our site.
• Raise suggestions to improve our products and processes.
• Manage team operations, maintenance planning and performance outcomes.
• Training and delivery, systems upkeep and customer management.
• Stakeholder engagement, project delivery and drive key maintenance outcomes.
• Develop long-term partners with preferred suppliers, new and existing
• Lead compliance for quality assurance and product servicing and deployability
• Write up reports following the inspection and tests, submit to the admin team for processing.

The experience, qualifications and skills you will have

Essential Criteria

• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to run a small to medium team with a technical background.
• Strong leadership and team support approach.
• Appetite to deliver work schedule and prioritise customer support and requirements.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
• Willing to travel as and when required.
• Experience working within an operations or maritime environment ideally supporting product delivery and upkeep.
