The role

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Interior Designer to join our thriving and passionate team. We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated interior designer who loves preparing specifications, interior documentation and cabinetry/joinery design.

Utilise your well-honed experience to create breath-taking designs for renovations and residential builds to bring our clients one step closer to their dream home.

Key Responsibilities

Support the (senior) Interior Designers and Architecture directors

Interpret architectural plans, designs and details and explain to stakeholders

Joinery design, documentation and detailing (both hand-drawn & Revit)

Ensure design specifications are completed accurately and efficiently (under direction)

Generate digital client presentations

Liaise with suppliers and product representatives to coordinate library and project samples as well as procure new and exciting products.

Represent the company at client meetings and site measures

Deliver client presentations (under direction / guided)

Requirements

Full unrestricted Australian working rights

Experience in Revit (essential)

Understanding of residential documentation & FF&E schedules

Design & Construction knowledge (ideal)

Joinery knowledge (essential)

Minimum of 3+ years' experience

Confidence working across a variety of projects and stages to meet competing deadlines

Ability to work in both a team environment and autonomously

Methodical approach to project tasks (time and task management)

Ability to self critique own work and able to take on constructive-criticism from clients and colleagues
