About the role

We are seeking a talented and passionate Part-time Interior Designer to join our team at DH Homes' in Noosaville, Queensland. As an Interior Designer, you will play a crucial role in creating beautiful and functional living spaces for our clients. This is an excellent opportunity to apply your creative flair and technical expertise to enhance the interior design of residential properties.

What you'll be doing

Collaborate with clients to understand their design preferences, needs and lifestyle requirements

Develop innovative and visually appealing interior design concepts and plans

Select and coordinate the procurement of furniture, furnishings, fixtures, and finishes

Prepare detailed design presentations and communicate design solutions effectively to clients

Oversee the implementation of interior design projects, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results

Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, materials, and technologies in the interior design industry

Provide expert advice and guidance to clients throughout the design and renovation process

What we're looking for

Tertiary qualification in Interior Design or a related field

Minimum 3 years' experience as an Interior Designer, preferably in the residential sector

Strong understanding of design principles, colour theory, and spatial planning

Proficiency in using design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite

Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively engage with clients

Ability to work collaboratively within a team and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work

Passion for staying up-to-date with industry trends and innovations
