About the role

Join Surv 3D, the leading 3D surveying firm, as a full-time Survey CAD Draftsperson based in Sydney, NSW.

We are looking for the right candidate to join our growing team.

Ability to train and upskill the right candidate, keeping up with the technology.

What you'll be doing

Prepare detailed survey drawings and plans using AutoCAD and related CAD software.

Drafting set out sketches, Asbuilt survey and reporting.

Interpret survey data and translate it into accurate CAD models and drawings.

Collaborate with surveyors to ensure the timely delivery of survey information.

Review drawings and plans for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to industry standards.

Maintain an organised filing system for all survey documents and data.

Provide support to project managers and other team members as needed.

What we're looking for

Minimum 5 years' experience as a CAD Draftsperson in the construction or surveying industry

Autodesk proficient

Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and other industry-standard CAD software

Ability to read and interpret survey data, plans, and drawings.

Willing to come to site and Laser scan.

Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Strong communication and collaboration skills

Relevant tertiary qualifications in Surveying, Engineering, or a related discipline
