Technical Officer – Park Operations
Salary: $102,340 - $108,555 per annum
Plus, up to 14.5% superannuation (conditions apply)

We are seeking a suitably qualified, motivated, and well-organised individual with strong experience in parks operations, horticulture, project management, and contract management to join our Parks & Natural Environment team as a Technical Officer – Park Operations.
In this role, you will be responsible for the development and delivery of projects and programs within the Parks Operational Work Program. You will also manage a range of operational contracts and provide expert technical advice and support to City staff, contractors, and the community.
Applicants are required to hold a Current WA 'C' Class Driver's Licence.
To be considered, please submit a covering letter (no more than 2 pages) addressing your experience in the following areas:
Relevant tertiary qualification in Horticulture (or related discipline), or equivalent experience.
Project and contract management, including tendering processes.
Certificate IV in Frontline Management or relevant experience.
Interpreting and administering the Australian Playground Standards (AS4685).
Working within a multidisciplinary team and providing technical input on park operations.
Financial management, including budget preparation, monitoring, and reporting.
