About the role
Reporting to the Communications Manager, the Communications Officer supports the Member and External Communications team to deliver clear, engaging and member-focused communication across digital, print and media channels.

As our Communications Officer, you'll:

  • draft, edit and proofread high-quality material aligned with RACGP’s editorial style guide
  • develop and deliver communication plans and content across digital, print and media channels
  • collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to create tailored, member-focused communications
  • support media activities and provide administrative assistance to ensure smooth team operations

Skills and experience

  • Strong writing and advanced editing skills
  • Ability to simplify complex information
  • Proven stakeholder engagement experience
  • Skilled at managing deadlines under pressure
