OHM offers a range of products and services for commercial and recreational boats. We operate a busy retail shop and offer installation and servicing for boats onsite and at remote locations.

This ranges from outboard motors (Mercury) and marine electronics (Simrad, Lowrance, Raymarine, Icom etc) to boating accessories and marine chandlery.

We are looking for a qualified marine mechanic or someone with relevant experience to join our team. If you don't have the mechanical experience we also on the hunt for a Marine Tech!

Responsibilities and Duties:

- Servicing outboards & repairs

- Repowers

- Creating quotes

- Installing marine electronics, waterproofing and routing wiring, networking, boat fit-outs and rewires.

- 12/24 volt installations

- Maintaining a tidy workshop, vehicles, and yard

-Some sales/customer interaction, sales of sounder, radar, and GPS, however role is primarily workshop based

Desirable Skills/Qualifications:

- Marine or vehicle mechanic

- Working at heights, forklift operation, HC license, boating experience/qualifications

- Cabling, electrical & marine experience

- First Aid Certificate

- MSIC/port pass
