OEM Field Service Mechanic

Perth Full time, Week: 6:30 am to 4:00 pm Monday to Friday.

Field Service WA & NT: 10 to 12 hr Shifts as requiered.

Full-time AL, SL, LSL. Industry Super.

EOFY Bonus system, starting at extra two weeks pay paid each June.

Vermeer Equipment of WA & NT is currently seeking an experienced Plant Mechanic - Service Technician - to carry out as required Field Service work, ranging from the South West to Northern Territory.

You will be working on Vermeer HME Plant: Surface Mining & Renewable energy, Horizontal Directional Drills, Vacuum Excavators and Environmental Equipment.

Perth based 10 day fortnight 6:30am to 4pm. With frequent rostered and non-rostered Field Service requirements throughout Northern Territory and NW & SW Western Australia.

Duties will include:

Fault and Diagnostic work on hydraulic systems.

Carrying out plant equipment maintenance and overhaul repairs.

Planning each job for maximum efficiency.

Assist in training 1st to 4th year apprentices.

Workshop and Field service support.

Ordering parts (where necessary) from Parts Department.

Carrying out mechanical and safety customer equipment appraisals.

What you will need to have to succeed in this position:

Ability to work autonomously and be flexible with rosters

Must hold a Trade Certificate III.

Diesel Mechanic, Mechanical Fitter with mobile plant experience

Mobile Plant Tech.

Hydraulic Danfoss CAN Bus mobile plant experience.

Must have valid Australian work rights.

Flexibility in lifestyle for non-rostered field service works.

Valid Medium Ridged Australian manual driver’s licence.

Current forklift ticket
