This international flooring brand is renowned for its premium product and exceptional service. They are the preferred choice for many of Australia's most recognised Developers, Architects, and Designers. They work closely with them to create high-end, bespoke flooring solutions that elevate commercial spaces.
With a growing market share, they are seeking a dedicated and motivated Account Manager to join the Sydney team, focusing on servicing top-tier Interior Design clients.
The ideal candidate for this role will be well-connected, with the ability to bring new business to the company.
Key responsibilities
Cultivate and nurture strong relationships with existing top-tier Interior Design clients, ensuring the business remains the preferred flooring partner for new projects.
Proactively identify and secure new client accounts, expanding reach within the design community
Understand client needs and provide tailored, innovative flooring solutions that align with creative vision and project requirements
Collaborate with the in-house design team to develop custom, one-of-a-kind flooring designs
Craft and present compelling proposals, tenders, and product samples to clients
Provide outstanding technical and project support from initial concept through to final installation
Stay ahead of industry trends and competitor activity to ensure business solutions remain cutting-edge and relevant
Your skills and experience
Proven experience in a specifying role within the Interior Design sector, ideally with a background in textiles, interior finishes, or flooring
Strong commercial acumen and the ability to understand complex design client needs and translate them into profitable sales opportunities
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the confidence and polish to liaise with clients at all levels
A creative flair and eye for design, with the ability to provide innovative and aesthetically pleasing flooring solutions
Excellent time management and organisational skills, with the ability to seamlessly manage multiple high-stakes projects
