The Opportunity
We are seeking a full-time International Student Recruitment Manager to join our team at the Cannington campus . This role requires a motivated professional with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality customer service and achieving recruitment targets.
Key Responsibilities:
· Develop and implement international student recruitment strategies across targeted markets.
· Build and maintain strong relationships with education agents, schools, and industry partners to increase enrolments.
· Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitor activities.
· Oversee and train education counsellors who counsel prospective students on education pathways, courses, and opportunities in Australia.
· Guide students through the application, admission, and visa process in collaboration with education and migration teams.
· Expand the direct client base in Perth through innovative engagement strategies.
· Build, lead, and mentor a growing team of counsellors and support staff.
· Organise and deliver information sessions, webinars, and presentations to prospective students and agents.
· Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute promotional campaigns (including digital and social media).
· Manage agent agreements, provide training, and ensure compliance with ESOS and CRICOS standards.
· Track and report on recruitment activities, conversion rates, and market trends.
· Ensure timely processing of applications in coordination with the admissions team.
· Stay updated on student visa regulations, education policies, and international education industry developments.
To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will have:
To be successful in this role, you will ideally possess:
· Experience in international student recruitment, education sales, or related roles (Education Agency , RTO or higher education sector experience highly regarded).
· Strong knowledge of the Australian international education sector, including Student Visa, ESOS framework and CRICOS compliance.
· Proven ability to meet recruitment targets and convert leads into enrolments.
· Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
· Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
· High attention to detail and organisational skills.
· Multilingual skills (advantageous but not essential).
· Minimum one year of experience in the overseas education sector.
· A positive, energetic, and solution-focused approach to achieving organisational goals.
