Mars Recruitment is partnering with a leading financial services organisation in Sydney to find an experienced and polished Enterprise Risk professional. You will be part of the Line 2 Enterprise Risk team, leading the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of enterprise-wide risk and compliance frameworks. Your work will directly influence the organisation's risk culture and support its strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement and enhance enterprise risk management frameworks, policies, and tools.
• Prepare risk insights and reports for senior executives and board-level committees.
• Monitor emerging risks and regulatory developments to ensure frameworks remain current and effective.
• Collaborate across business units to uplift risk capability and culture.
• Support training and capability-building initiatives to strengthen risk awareness.
• Contribute to the refinement of risk metrics, taxonomies, and scenario testing frameworks.

Key Requirements:

• 8+ years' experience in enterprise risk management, ideally gained in financial services, government, or regulatory environments.
• Strong understanding of risk governance, frameworks, and compliance practices.
• Ability to influence and build relationships across all levels of an organisation.
• Proven track record supporting the implementation of risk frameworks and tools.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in finance, economics, risk, compliance, or a related discipline.
