Role impact & contribution

This role will manage and lead the agency’s risk and business continuity functions to improve risk management capability and enable the organisation to deliver its strategic objectives and ensure compliance with relevant government policies and obligations in relation to risk management.

Proactively building robust relationships and partnerships with internal and external stakeholders is paramount, as is your contribution to improving the delivery of outcomes across the NSW Government through effective communication, collaboration, and advocacy with Treasury teams and agency counterparts.

We are looking for someone who is a practical and collaborative problem solver who can coach, support and in turn learn from others.

The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria:

· Experience in risk management and business continuity.

· Technical expertise in developing risk and business continuity policy and practices.

· Qualification in risk, governance or audit profession or equivalent experience for the role

Eligibility
