Our Client is looking for an SME Business Analyst with Cash Management, Treasury or Super Fund experience. The successful candidate will play a critical role in bridging business needs with technology solutions, supporting large-scale transformation initiatives, process improvements, and regulatory/compliance changes.
This role requires both hands-on business analysis skills and deep domain knowledge, enabling you to provide subject matter expertise while driving effective outcomes across stakeholders, systems, and processes.
Responsibilities
Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Superannuation, Treasury, or Cash Management processes.
Partner with business stakeholders, operations, and technology teams to gather, analyse, and document requirements.
Develop and maintain business process models, user stories, functional specifications, and workflow documentation.
Support solution design and testing to ensure alignment with business needs and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with vendors, technology teams, and business leaders to deliver end-to-end process improvements.
Provide impact assessments and contribute to business case development for new initiatives.
Assist in data analysis, reconciliations, and reporting to support decision-making.
Ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices in Superannuation, Treasury, and/or Cash Management.
Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and act as a liaison between business and technical stakeholders.
Requirements
4-6 years' experience as a Business Analyst, with proven expertise in Superannuation, Treasury, or Cash Management.
Strong knowledge of financial products, cash flows, settlements, investment operations, and/or member services.
Proven ability to translate business requirements into functional specifications and support technical teams in delivery.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to engage across business, operations, and technology teams.
Hands-on experience in data analysis, reconciliations, and reporting tools.
Familiarity with regulatory compliance in financial services, particularly within super funds or treasury operations.
Experience with Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies.
Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
Experience with super fund administration systems, treasury management platforms, or cash management solutions.
Knowledge of APRA regulations, investment compliance, or liquidity risk management.
Exposure to large-scale transformation programs in financial services.
