On behalf of our client, a well-established and respected bank, we are seeking an experienced EA/ Business Manager Operations to support their Retail Banking Division.

Reporting directly to the Head of Department, this role plays a critical part in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the team. You’ll act as a trusted partner, supporting the Head across strategic planning, operational delivery, reporting, and communications.

This is a diverse and hands-on role, encompassing business operations, project coordination, and people-focused initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have a background as an Business Manager/ EA where you have provided strategic operations or in a similar operational support role, ideally within banking or financial services. You’re experienced in supporting senior leaders with strategic planning and reporting and are confident managing multiple priorities. You thrive in structured environments and are passionate about driving operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

EA Support to the Head Of

Collaborate closely with senior leaders to drive and support key business initiatives.

Assist with the coordination of business planning and reporting activities.

Understand current budgets and business goals, working confidently with numbers to support decision-making.

Work closely with large budgets, ensuring accurate tracking, analysis, and alignment with strategic priorities.

Support budget planning by researching and analysing data to inform decisions and current priorities.

Manage multiple projects, tasks, and deadlines with strong organisation and attention to detail.

Partner directly with the Head of Department to deliver critical projects and initiatives.

Build strong relationships with stakeholders and maintain effective team-wide communication.

Apply strategic thinking to align cross-team activities and connect priorities across the business.

Work alongside senior leaders to support and deliver people-focused initiatives.

Contribute to strategic planning by preparing and presenting insights and recommendations.
