Contal Services is seeking a mid-level Java Software Engineer to join our small but bright Brisbane team as we prepare to expand and market several software developments in a range of industries including travel, hospitality and aged care.

If you have…

A Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field;

Strong English communication skills to understand and contribute to complex business discussions;

In-depth knowledge of Java 8+ technologies, frameworks and standards;

Experience in building RESTful APIs (experience with Springboot is desirable);

Solid knowledge of ORM like Hibernate or JPA;

Unix experience;

SQL database skills and ability to write complex queries...

We enjoy an enthusiastic, collaborative environment, and use an Apache foundation, Asterisk, and RedHat Linux to name a few. We work on Macs, though no problem if you haven't before, as long as you're happy to learn.
